  • Q. How far in advance of my wedding should I set up our website?
  • A. Obviously you have a lot to do to organise your wedding, but we would recommend setting up your site as soon as possible so that we can start giving you some help. We offer packages for either 12 or 18 months to suit your needs. You can also extend the time of your website if you need to.

    Remember that you may want to include your wedding website address on your wedding stationery. Once your site is up and running you will see what a help it can be. Instead of having to repeat all accommodation and travel information to each of your guests you can just refer them to your website.

  • Q. Can I change the design of my website after I've created it?
  • A. Absolutely, by accessing the page builder again you can recreate the style and layout of your website if you are not happy with what you have created. There is no limit to the amount of times you can change your design.

  • Q. In what way can I customise the design of my website?
  • A. On each page you have the choice of the individual layout and style. In addition to this you insert your own text and media on each of the pages.

  • Q. Do I have to know any html code to format the text on my web pages?
  • A. Absolutely not. Worldwide Wedding have specifically designed our online website building application so that you need no coding skills whatsoever to get the full potential out of your website.

  • A. Simply go to Website on your client area and click on the design tab, which will allow you to browse through all of the design selections.

  • A. Simply click on website on your client area and then on Pages and choose on the left hand navigation from either a blank page or a template for you new page

  • Q. How do I change the title of my home page?
  • A. Simply go to website on your client area, then click on Pages tab and on Home. You will see that on the right habd side it displays your website. Click on the change title button and this will allow you to change the title.

  • Q. How do I change the navigation of my pages?
  • A. Simply go to the website tab in your client area and click on the tab for pages. At the left hand side at the bottom of your list of pages there is a button to edit the navigation of the pages.

  • Q. How do I add text and Media to my pages?
  • A. Simply go to the website tab in your client area. Click on pages and you will see the list of pages you have choosen on the left hand side navigation. Click on the page name for which you wish to add text or media. You will see the layout of the page displayed. Click on the Add text button and a pop up with appear, where you can add your text. Click on add Image button to upload an image to that page.

  • Q. How do I create a new event?
  • A. Go to Events in the top right hand corner there is a New Event button click on this to add a new event

  • Q. How do I import guests from my email account?
  • A. Go to the Guest tab in your client area. Click on the website guests tab and then click on the import guest button. This will bring up a pop up window. You should select which account you wish to importthem from and eneter the username and password for that account and then press login.

  • Q. What if I don't have an account with any of these account?
  • A. If you don't have an account which allows you to import your contacts, then go to back to the Guest and then Webste Guest tab and click on Add Guest which will alllow you to import your guests one by one.

  • Q. How do I invite a guest to an event?
  • A. Go to the Events tab in your client area and select the tab which relates to the event that you wish to invite the guest too. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see an Invite Guest. This will bring up a list of your website guests, select which of your website guests you wish to invite to that specific event. If you have not already imported guests you will need to do this first. Please refer to the How do I import guests help guide for instructions on this.

  • Q. How do I manage my guest uploads?
  • A. In order to allow guest to upload any photos or videos you must be displaying the Media Gallery page on your dite. If a guest has uploaded any videos or photos you will be notified when you log on to your client area. Alternatively click on Media and Received tab to view the uploads. You can choose to accept and show them or your site or delete them by selecting the buttons at the bottom of the page.

  • Q. Some details of my event have changed how do I change this on my website?
  • A. Simply go in to the Events tab of your client area and then click on the tab of the event you wish to change. Once you have made the changes press the save button.

  • Q. There is no Google map showing on my website for one of my events.
  • A. Make sure you have put a valid postcode in the event details and then a Google map should be displayed on the details of your events page.

  • A. Go in to the Account area of your client log in and you can ammend all your details their.

  • Q. Can I restrict my website to my Wedding Guests only?
  • A. Yes, you can restrict those who can view your website to your guests only if you wish by ticking the "Guest Access Only" tick box in the My Account area.

  • Q. How do I find a wedding website without the domain name?
  • A. You can search for a wedding website by using the Search Tool. The both first name and Surname of the couple you are looking for and the results will guide you to the website you want.

  • Q. How do I stop everybody being able to view my website
  • A. Go in to the Website tab of your client area and click on the Pages tab and then on the Home page. At the top of the page there is a tick box which says Only allow guests to view my site. Click the box of this and it will require guest to use their username and password to log on. Remember you must have invited them as a guest for them to have been given a username and password.

  • Q. How do I upload Media?
  • A. Just simply go to your media gallery in your admin site and press upload. You can uploads photo's, videos or music to this. Once it is in your media gallery you can use it on any of the pages of your website.

  • Q. Can my guests upload photos?
  • A. Yes this is one of the special features of worldwidewedding.com it allows all your guest to upload their pictures to the website. This means that you can see all of your guests photos from your hen, stag and your big day. You can even choose to display these on your website. You will have the ability to accept of reject all of the photos prior to them appearing on the site!

  • A. You can leave a message on their guestbook page if they have one on their site.

  • Q. What happens if I didn not receive my login details or I have lost them?
  • A. Then contact the Wedding couple and explaina dn ask them to send you another invite through the site.

  • Q. What happens when someone makes an entry on the Guestbook?
  • A. Guests will be required to log in to make comments on your guestbook. You will be notified in your client area if someone has made a comment on your guestbook and you can approve and edit it before it is displayed on your site.

  • Q. Can I upgrade my package?
  • A. You can upgrade your package at any time by clicking on the Account and then upgrade button from the Client Area.

  • Q. Can I keep my website online after my membership period has concluded?
  • A. A week prior to your membership expiry we will send you an email to invite you to extend your wedding website beyond this date. Simply click on the "Extend my website expiry date" and complete the payment details and you can extend your website for 6 or 12 months.
